How to disconnect your accounts and delete your data from TechBuddy4Biz
1) Disconnect your social media accounts
You can disconnect your Facebook Page and Instagram Business account from TechBuddy4Biz at any time. There are two ways to do this:
Option A: From the TechBuddy4Biz portal
- Log in to the TechBuddy4Biz portal.
- Go to Settings > Connected Accounts.
- Click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove.
Option B: From Facebook directly
- Go to Facebook Settings > Security and Login > Business Integrations.
- Find TechBuddy4Biz and click Remove.
What happens when you disconnect: All stored access tokens, page tokens, and credential records for the disconnected account are immediately deleted from our database. TechBuddy4Biz will no longer be able to post, read comments, send messages, or access analytics for that account.
2) Request full account deletion
If you want to delete your entire TechBuddy4Biz account and all associated data, send an email to:
support@techbuddy4biz.com
Please include:
- Your business name and email address associated with your TechBuddy4Biz account.
- A request to delete your account and all associated data.
3) What data is deleted
When you request full account deletion, we will delete the following within 30 days:
- Account credentials — your login information and authentication records.
- Social media tokens — all stored Facebook and Instagram access tokens, page tokens, and OAuth records.
- Client configuration — your business profile, branding settings, content themes, posting schedules, and preferences.
- Generated content — AI-generated posts, images, captions, and approval history.
- Conversation data — lead conversations, messages, follow-up records, and contact information stored on your behalf.
- Analytics data — any cached engagement metrics and performance data.
4) Data we may retain
We may retain limited data after account deletion where required for:
- Legal compliance — records required by applicable laws or regulations.
- Security and fraud prevention — minimal logs needed to prevent abuse.
- Aggregated analytics — anonymized, non-identifiable data used to improve our services.
5) Processing time
Disconnecting social media accounts takes effect immediately. Full account deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receiving your email. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
